Our long heritage as the premier manufacturer of a broad line of first quality topical pharmaceuticals has given us a priority position in all hospital and institutional categories and within all independent and chain pharmacy departments. The growing area of self-medication involving certain forms of our core products has caused us to develop select new presentations suitable for this consumer market we previously left unaddressed.
Hospitals and pharmacies throughout the country rely on Fougera for their generic creams, ointments, gels, lotions and solutions for dermatologic and ophthalmic applications. And you can, too. The recently formed Consumer Products Division has the mission to bring appropriate non-prescription branded products directly to the user by having them available at retail up-front and with promotional support. We now reach out to this growing health care sector with proven, excellent quality products, utilizing much the same wholesaler, chain and independent retail partners through whom we supply our substantial and essential prescription line.
Our Swim-Ear® products, as well as other products in development, bring our specialized state-of-the-art expertise to this division.
